Kiyokawa Family Orchards
Kiyokawa Family Orchards is a family-owned and operated farm located in Parkdale, Oregon. We're proud to be a part of the famous Hood River Valley, where the nation's finest apples and pears are grown. Our fruit is grower-direct, which allows us to provide quality fruit at great prices.
Kiyokawa Family Orchards has been growing the finest produce available since 1911. The fertile soils found at the base of Mt. Hood and rarified, glacier-fed water sources create a unique growing environment allowing us to offer over 80 distinct varieties of apples, pears, and Asian pears. We take pride in promoting local and sustainably grown produce and utilize a farm management system that incorporates best management practices.
You will find a visit to our orchard an unforgettable family experience with breath-taking views of Mt. Hood and beautiful grounds for your touring and picnicing pleasure. Kids will love our play area.
Our fruit stand offers award-winning pies, turnovers, local honey, jams and fresh cider. If you prefer to pick your own, we have the largest U-Pick orchard in the valley!
Awesome family run farm with tons of variety of apples always changing during the season. Fast friendly service. And a cool hay fort for the kids. Make this your new fall apple tradition like I have.
Great place for apple picking and a hayride. Beautiful setting, big selection and casual atmosphere. Kids can burn off a little steam in the play fort and jungle gym. Fiesta Days in October are best with a Mariachi band and taco truck. Can get a little crowded on nice weekends.
Kiyokawa's has wonderful staff, a spectacular location, amazing selection and reasonable prices. We live in the area and purchase almost all of our apples here when they are open. Our grandchildren enjoy the fort and activities and festivals available in the fall. If you visit, you won't be disappointed.
This stand had the best selection of Apple's. There prices were the best, their presentation of tastes was better and cleaner than other places, the had great descriptions of each apple as to their characteristics, best used for, how long they keep and their provenance. They also had real toilets for their customers.
This place is top notch. Owners are so nice. A lot of varieties of pears and apples. Open July through December.
